HI!
Growing up in Tokyo, I developed my interest in creative world through playing with Microsoft Paint as a child. I encountered Breakdance culture back in high school which has been helping me understand the importance of teamwork, unique approach, form-making, and storytelling to this day. I received a degree in Business in Japan as lots of my friend. However, I decided to move out of the small island in the Pacific Ocean to the States to seek new adventures and experiences in the creative field.
I'm driven by curiosity, observation, thinking, and translating complex ideas into slick, exciting stories. I am always looking for meaningful encounters and connections that lie in society and beyond. And yet, I am not afraid to deconstruct and alienate my findings in my creative process.
My name is Yuma Naito, a transmedia graphic designer who recently graduated with distinction from ArtCenter College of Design. You can find me spinning on a dance floor, or watching Friends on Netflix at a coffee shop.
